bandgap.io is domiciled in the United States, and all hosting infrastructure is located in the United States. The Company is therefore governed by the laws of the United States, and complies with any lawful request for data from the United States government.
The email provided by the user is never sold, rented, or shared with any third-party. Customer support emails are managed through Protonmail, which is an end-to-end encrypted email framework. Transactional emails are managed through Sendgrid, which is not end-to-end encrypted, but uses TLS. Marketing emails are sent rarely and only to inform the user of new features or additions to the Service. An unsubscribe link is provided.
Data uploaded or created by the users interaction with the site is the sole property of the user, and is not sold, rented, or shared with any third-party. Our sysadmins have access to user data, which is necessary for customer support. Credit card data is never handled by bandgap.io, and is managed by Stripe.
Google analytics is used throughout the site. This data is used to prioritize which features should be improved and expanded, and is not shared with third-parties. If a user does not wish to participate in the collection of this data, they may install AdBlock. bandgap.io operates without issue when using AdBlock.
This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the substantive laws of the state of Idaho. Any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to the Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Idaho, the jurisdiction of the Ada County courts being expressly reserved.Back to top
